LiveBig simplifies delivery of allied health services for people with disability

LiveBig is a new player on the NDIS block that innovatively delivers allied health and assessment services to people with disability, including NDIS participants. In an industry ripe for innovation, LiveBig is disrupting the status quo by offering flexible delivery of therapeutic services like speech therapy, occupational therapy and psychological services.

“We could see a real opportunity to shake things up around the provision of disability therapeutic services. LiveBig is not aiming to be a jack of all trades. We are highly specialised in allied health services and our goal is to simplify the process of accessing these services – at home, in the community and via telehealth, which could not be more important right now. Over the past six weeks our telehealth offering has risen dramatically and we are currently delivering 64% of our services in this way,” says Marcella Romero, Founder and Owner of Arriba Group and LiveBig. 

LiveBig works with people with disability of all ages delivering flexible support tailored to each individual’s needs and preferences. Services include assessments, NDIS plan review support, and individual and group therapy, with specialities in psychology, occupational therapy, exercise physiology, speech pathology and physiotherapy. Services are also privately provided outside the NDIS framework.

“Before establishing LiveBig, we were hearing frustration around a lack of transparency and communication in the sector regarding waiting lists and the ability for people to receive services in a timely manner, which can really have a huge impact on an individual. I think innovation in this sector has been challenging and has perhaps been impacted by early processes around the NDIS,” continued Marcella. “We really wanted to design a responsive, transparent and nimble organisation that is truly focused on the client.”
